Out of Edge –leather collection
Leather industry generates significant amounts of solid waste. By far, the largest quantity of waste is generated at the cutting step. The cutting rate for leather can range 25-60%. With some high quality items, only 40% of the surface of the leather is used.
Out of edge is the collection to use the rest of the leather after cutting or trimming. In this collection, besides putting animal elements in to the cable management, designers also integrate origami into the wallet and pouch by only few folds.
