Living Pixels
Taking recycled advertising banners as the project’s starting point; the designers gave a unique three-dimensionality to the material by cutting it into small pieces and combining them together to create interesting volumes of light and texture. The designers focused their efforts by creating each light shade individually and specifically for each stand, selecting the right banners, sorting out matching colors and sewing each patch by hand to build the perfect irregular shape. As the banners are printed in one side only, the lamps appear to be white and pale when switch off, but the plain appearance radically changes once the lamps are lighted on the colors emerge from the inside.

把被棄置的街頭廣告橫額循環再用，剪裁成色彩繽紛的小塊，揉合獨特的用色觸覺，以人手縫合成別出心裁的立體形狀。每當亮起節能燈泡，燈具迅即透出醉人光影，賞心悅目。每盞獨一無二的燈飾從形狀、燈架到每一塊廣告橫額的顏色都經過精心編排，令光源於顏色與形狀起伏之間呈現夢幻般的綺麗色彩。廣告橫額只有一面印上顏色，設計師刻意把白色一面放在外層，關掉燈泡時燈飾只是單調的白，但當亮燈後，色彩便會隨著光線滲出，縫隙之間更會透出點點光芒。
