Candles have a way of bringing people closer together, to share in not just the light, but in the kind of magic and warmth they represent. However, for the past few years, this tradition of lighting candles is no longer continued in Hong Kong due to safety and littering concerns from the Government. Sadly, this has caused a significant decline in the sense of community and power these events and gatherings held for locals.
Taking an eggshell as a wax container, we teach people make a special and eco friendly eggy candle to avoid the littering problems. Hopefully, this could revive the tradition of lighting candle in the community and magic bringing people closer together.
Without tools, and tables, the workshop is anywhere in the city.
