牠和他的生態半部曲 Ecology in the making
當熱情洋溢的業餘博物學家遇上香港的大自然，便譜寫出跨越兩百年的生態探索史詩。展覽自 1816 年算起，透過五個章節與 28 位探索者的故事，梳理歷史人物（如克拉克．亞卑路、葉靈鳳、白理桃）如何啟發當代自然守護者（如林超英、葉曉文），展現業餘探索對生態研究的深遠貢獻。展場嚴選自然物料構建，並搜集回收學生檯化身展示櫃，隱喻先賢（師）與當代探索者（徒）之間的薪火相傳，邀請大眾接棒傳承自然保育精神。
When passionate amateur naturalists encounter Hong Kong’s rich biodiversity, a 200-year saga of discovery begins. Spanning five chapters and 28 profiles, this exhibition traces how historical pioneers (such as Clarke Abel, Yip Ling-fung, and Charles Barretto) inspired today's nature advocates (including Lam Chiu-ying and Yip Hiu-man). Built with eco-friendly natural materials and upcycled school desks as display units, the spatial design honors a mentor-apprentice legacy, inviting the public to carry forward the torch of local citizen science and conservation.
