這一件作品是希望呈現我們對工廈生活的感覺,作品是一個較大的紫色四面體,內裡有由很多個不同顏色,不同尺寸的小金字塔所組成。由於布料透光的特性,在沒有發光時,觀眾只能看到作品最外層平平無奇的外殼, 但在發光後就能發現內部原本是非常豐富而且有趣的構造。寓意工廈原本只是平平無奇,工廈的精彩是在於工廈內有不同的人和事在發生,大家一同分享資源,智識及才能,才能令一個地方變得有價值。重要的往往不是地方, 重要的往往也是人。
Trees in wood that shape the wood.
This installation encapsulates our experience of life inside industrial buildings. Crafted as a large purple tetrahedron, its interior houses a vibrant matrix of smaller pyramids in diverse colors and sizes. Utilizing the translucent property of fabric, the structure appears plain and unassuming when unlit; once illuminated, however, a rich and intriguing internal architecture is suddenly revealed. This mirrors industrial buildings themselves: nondescript on the outside, yet brimming with vitality as people share resources, wisdom, and talent within. Ultimately, a space derives its value not from its shell, but from the people who breathe life into it.
