Scope:

Bicycles define Sha Tin’s identity, weaving along the Shing Mun River to form the lifeblood of the neighborhood. Inspired by this local pulse, PolyU Design students upcycled nearly 100 discarded bicycles to create the installation "Floating Sand, Reflecting Fields" (浮沙映田). This workshop invites participants to explore community connectivity and material upcycling, turning shared cycling memories into a collective art piece that celebrates the vibrant spirit of Sha Tin.
